Using Web Dissect

Membership payments and provider choice

On Money & Traffic, add one or more membership payment options. Choose Stripe, PayPal or Paddle, give the plan a name, paste a recurring checkout link from your own provider account, and optionally add a customer-management link. Select test or live and enable it when ready.

  • Each site owner uses their own payment account; Web Dissect does not collect client-site membership money through its account.
  • Only enabled live options appear on exported pages; test links stay in the studio.
  • Buyers choose from the options you enable. Card and wallet availability is controlled by your provider, country and account settings.
  • These are hosted checkout links, not account connections. Create a recurring plan with your provider first. Prices, taxes, renewals, refunds and cancellation are handled there.
  • Clicking a link or returning from checkout never grants membership access. Member-only content is not protected by these links; that requires signed-in hosting and verified payment confirmation, which remain unfinished.
  • Browse Membership plans at /plans without an account, choose your billing period and service, then review the price at checkout. Sign in or create an account to continue; the selected plan is retained when you return. The private Membership dashboard shows your verified purchases and subscription controls.
  • Web Dissect's own built-in euro plans are on Membership: Starter €19/month or €190/year, Professional €49/month or €490/year, and Studio €99/month or €990/year. Annual prices equal ten monthly payments; final tax and totals appear at checkout. Starter unlocks new captures, evidence/claims, assets and owner reports. Professional adds redesign/enhanced builds, validation, QA, browser/API checks and multilingual ZIP exports. Studio adds brand-kit changes, brand graphics, client quotes and GitHub publishing. AI usage and hands-on work remain separate.
  • Paid purchases and active subscriptions unlock the matching tier and lower tiers only after verified payment confirmation. Saved work stays readable after expiry; nothing is deleted. Admins retain access. Editing benefit wording does not change which actions belong to each tier; catalog order is the access order, lowest to highest.
  • Cancel renewal from Membership: access continues until the paid period ends, with no further renewal charge. Change to a higher tier immediately with a provider-calculated prorated charge; payment failure leaves the old plan unchanged. Change to a lower tier at renewal: no charge or credit now and existing higher-tier benefits remain until then. Review the amount before confirming. Plan changes keep the same monthly/annual billing period and do not convert manual passes into subscriptions.
  • During payment retries, update your payment method from the dashboard. Existing access follows the paid-through period. For one-off passes, renew manually from the pass entry; MB WAY cannot automatically renew through this provider.
  • Choose monthly or annual for automatic card/PayPal subscriptions. Choose a month or year pass for one-off MB WAY payments where available for Portuguese customers paying in euros. Passes do not renew automatically. Automatic MB WAY requires a separate SIBS authorised-payments merchant account; it is not connected.
  • Admins can edit service names, benefits and enabled state, verify payment price references, and copy a checkout link per service and billing choice. Prices are read from the payment catalog; create or change actual prices through Payments, then update the saved references. Never change only a displayed amount.
  • Checkout remains in test mode in preview. Live checkout is disabled in the app until an admin enables it after identity verification and provider approval; enabling a setting does not bypass provider approval.
  • Test memberships exercise checkout and membership controls, but do not unlock writes to shared live project data. New project actions require a live paid membership or an admin account.
  • Verified payment events store subscriptions and one-off passes separately for test and live. Returning from checkout does not itself activate anything. The membership dashboard reads only your own confirmed records and opens the provider's portal for cancellation and payment-method changes.

Checkout links must use the selected provider's official HTTPS checkout domain. Do not paste secret keys here.
