Privacy Notice
Last updated 28 October 2026
This notice explains how The Solynth Network Limited ("we") handles personal data when you use Solynth Studio. We are the data controller for this data: we decide why and how it is processed.
What we collect and why
- Account details — name, email address and sign-in credentials, to create and secure your account (contract).
- Membership records — your plan, renewal dates and order references, to give you the right access (contract). Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not us.
- Your project content — website addresses, captured pages and screenshots, recordings, settings and files you add, to provide the Service (contract).
- Support messages — what you send us, to help you (contract and legitimate interests).
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device identifiers, logs and activity, to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and improve it (legitimate interests).
- Visitor data on exported sites — if you enable tracking on a site you export, anonymous page views and clicks, which we process for you.
- Marketing — only if you opt in (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
We also keep records where required by law (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling memberships, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Service providers who host the Service, store files, provide AI processing, website capture and support tools, under contract and only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (including the UK addendum) to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and project data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after it closes so you can export it; logs for up to 12 months; and financial records as long as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise data.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, private storage, per-member access rules and restricted administrator access.
Cookies and local storage
We use only essential storage: to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these in your browser, but you will be signed out.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. We respond within one month. Contact us through our Help page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
