Discovery, capture and the site map

Discovery follows links from the start page up to the crawl depth, staying inside the project's sites, and stops at the screen limit (1–100 pages).

Capture takes a screenshot, the page text, links, forms and images of each page. Captured images go into the Asset Library.

• Pages behind a sign-in: save a test sign-in in the Validation Center, then press "Capture signed-in pages". Only simple email and password forms work.
• Phone screenshots: press "Phone" on the Before / After page.
• External assistants (Comet and similar) and the "Send to Web Dissect" browser extension can add pages; the same site-scope rule applies.
